Simplicity comes in many different shapes and it is a useful practice for drawing closer to God. Today I would love to share one of my recent messages from our home church from a series called Your Sacred Path. Please enjoy this message wherever it may find you today. Sermon Notes:

When we choose to practice living simply it removes the barriers and draws us closer in our relationship with Jesus.

What am I wanting to resist in this moment?

S – Start Small & Specific

I – Intentionality

"Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back." Philippians 3:13-14 TPT

M – Mental Energy

“Since God cares for you, let Him carry all your burdens and worries. Most importantly, be disciplined and stay on guard. Your enemy the devil is prowling around outside like a roaring lion, just waiting and hoping for the chance to devour someone." 1 Peter 5:7-8 The Voice

P – Possessions and Space

L – Less Consumption – More Contentment

“If we have food and clothing, we will be content with that." 1 Timothy 6:8

E – Experience Jesus
